Faux Leather...

Hi everyone!
I am currently sitting in a virtually empty basement, as we are getting ready to renovate. I thought I had better post on here before my computer goes into hibernation for a few days! Here is a card that I made with my club last week. We used the faux leather technique to get this effect on chipboard. It took a bit of sponging, but I'm really happy with the results!
Here's the recipe...
Stamps: Friendship Blooms & Everyday Flexible Phrases
Ink: Chocolate Chip, Close to Cocoa, Creamy Caramel, More Mustard & Old Olive
Paper: Old Olive, Chocolate Chip, So Saffron, Confetti Cream & So Saffron Designer Prints
Accessories: On Board Simon Lower (chipboard), Stamping Sponges,
Chocolate Chip Poly twill Ribbon & Vintage Brads

I'm Back!

Hello everyone!
Here is a photo of the gang at Chilliwack Lake! We went there last weekend, and actually had to get all bundled up because of all the snow! It was so nice to have a family day.
I have actually been stamping and have missed posting on here. I'll have to dig out my camera and take some pictures of my latest projects. Spring Break is just around the corner!

Anniversary Card...

Hi Everyone!

Here is a card I made a while ago. I used a whole variety of things until I came up with this combination! I used the Looks Like Spring and Baroque Motifs stamp sets, and Rose Red Designer, Pretty in Pink, and Old Olive Paper. I'll have to send this off soon! My parent's anniversary is on Wednesday! Oops! Oh well, it's the thought that counts.

I finally decided what I would like to make for Christmas cards this year. Now all I need is the time to get them done! Thanks for looking!

Tri-Fold Card

Hello Everyone!

Well, it has been way too long since I've posted! I guess that comes with the territory. My job and little ones keep me very busy! I have had a few minutes here and there to stamp. It's becoming my therapy!

This is a tri-fold card that I made a few weeks ago. I used the Elegant Notes stamp set (one of my new favourites), Chocolate Chip paper and ink, So Saffron Prints Paper, and Whisper White ribbon. You undo the ribbon to reveal a cute note inside. Anyway, my time's up! Thanks for looking!
